Actually I have little information about the history of this group, so I went directly to talk about what concerns me in this post: Something has to happen and The enemy, his third and fifth album respectively.
Released in April of this year, The enemy, his fifth LP (apparently an independent production), I think the second best work they have done so far, behind only his third material entitled Something has to happen , 2006 and released on the label Scatter Records. These are two very good musical productions (higher than rest mentioned).
On behalf of the enemy Needless to say, is palpable introspective maturity that present in their lyrics, in my opinion is what makes it stand out this latest work, however, in his third LP is impossible not to reinterpret exceptionally sound that characterized in the 60s to Jamaica.
If you like good music with wind instruments, black music and Ska undoubtedly be happy with these Argentines and two productions that will make you a good time with a desire to move the boat, or head loss .
Recommendations:
Something has to happen: "70:30" "If you do not know, stop," "Edward VIII" (with a tinge of are very typical of Latin America), "Free" and "Two Fingers" (referring back to a scene of gangsters).
The enemy: "Sound Pablo" (which is where I read that quote to Willie Colon and Hector Lavoe), "The Enemy" (reminding us that everyone of us), "The Last Letter", "Patio", "In thousand years "and" Lead. "
As usual I leave you some links so you can download and listen to the records of which I speak (which someone else came generously before).
